I'm a software engineer based in Phoenix, Arizona, with a passion for building robust full-stack applications. My background blends backend development with problem solving strategies, allowing me to craft innovative solutions. I leveraged these skills during my GEOST internship, where I was constantly learning and contributing to exciting projects.

As a software engineering intern at GEOST, I became passionate about creating full-stack applications that aim to provide functionality to physical products. My long-term goal is to become a leading figure on a software development team designing and creating deployable software to users. I believe my skills can significantly contribute to developing innovative solutions to accomplish this goal.   • 3D Printer Thumbnail

    3D Printer Design

    A hybrid machine that can both 3D print and CNC machine (CNC) would be a versatile tool for makers and hobbyists. The project is currently in the design phase, with the goal of creating a machine that can be easily assembled and used by the average user.

  • Jessica miller

    Disaster Risk Monitoring

    Disaster Risk Monitoring using Satellite Imagery is a side project inspired by an NVIDIA workshop with the goal build and deploy a deep learning model to automate the detection of flood events using satellite imagery. This could be applied to lower the cost, improve the efficiency, and significantly enhance the effectiveness of various natural disaster management use cases.

  1. Leading Edge Lighting - Software Contractor

    December 2024 - Current

    Based on user feedback, developed and proposed a plan to design and implement new applications for order organization, completion and price estimates leveraging skills with SQL, React, and Golang.

  2. Medical College of Wisconsin - Data Science Co-Op

    January 2024 - May 2024

    Worked collaboratively to develop a python-based data pipeline (Tensorflow, NumPy, and Pandas) to extract radiomic features from spinal MRI scans to predict future pain and spinal degradation levels for a patient. Iterations of the model were evaluated by experts and iterated upon by implementing several bootstrapping techniques and developing a method of continuous integration using a super compute cluster.

  3. GEOST - Enterprise Software Engineering Intern

    March 2023 - September 2023

    Developed, implemented, and tested camera control software for a commercial satellite payload. Programmed features in C++ (NASA cFS framework) with regular end to end testing utilizing Jenkins, cumulating in hardware integration testing, all in support of an accelerated development cycle.

  4. RTM Engineering - Software Engineering Intern

    Summer 2021

    Worked with interdisciplinary engineers to identify, develop, and distribute add on python modules to Autodesk Revit that were both user-friendly and increased productivity for internal engineering teams.

  5. Direct Supply - Software Engineering Intern

    2020 - 2021 Academic Year

    Developed consumer level software utilizing C# and SQL Azure databases. Feature branches were managed with Git and production candidates were evaluated using an automated Jenkins pipeline.
